Paralegal Candidate will work in personal injury law firm. Gain valuable experience working alongside top-tier attorneys in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Provide case management support to Attorneys by preparing discovery, drafting mediation and arbitration briefs, assembling and organizing case materials, writing memoranda and preparing for trial. Create and update medical expense summaries, medical record summaries, and wage loss summaries; Draft Arbitration and Mediation briefs; Read and summarize deposition transcripts; Create PowerPoint presentations for use in Mediations, Arbitrations and Trial; Respond to discovery, such as Interrogatories and Request for Production of Documents; Assist in preparing demand letters; Conduct legal and miscellaneous research; Arrange and attend inspections; Prepare legal and other correspondence; Set-up equipment and videotape depositions; Communicate with potential and existing clients; Negotiate client liens; and Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Plaintiff personal injury experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and PDF software. Must have a strong command of the English language and the ability to use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar. This position requires familiarity with basic office equipment, as well as sharp attention to detail and the ability to properly format documents and letters. Qualified persons will be motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented.
