Personal Injury Paralegal Duties: Conducting client intakes. Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions & orders. Assisting in and responding to discovery. E-filing documents. Scheduling hearings and depositions. Arranging service of process. Managing a calendar. Maintaining and organizing files and keeping them current. Answering clients and insurance adjusters inquiries regarding status on documents and cases. Qualifications: Must have 5+ years legal work experience in handling a big case load in Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation. Comfortable in a fast paced environment. Exhibit stress management skills. Available to work after hours and weekends. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows 7-10. Knowledge of Needles and TrialWorks is a plus but will train. Type 65 wpm. Able to take and follow directions. Exceptional writing and speaking skills. Communicate clearly, professionally and accurately with clients in person and by phone. Requires a mature and professional demeanor. Organized and detail-oriented. Punctual and dependable. Respectful. Positive attitude. Professionally dressed. Have a love for serving and helping clients. Possess a passion for law and justice. Bilingual preferred.
