Asbestos/Product Liability The candidate will taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required. Drafting pleadings and briefs. Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients. Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Drafting interrogatories and document demand. Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation. Submitting filings to the court. Must have J.D./LLM. Admitted to practice in New York required, additional admissions are a plus. Asbestos/toxic tort experience are required. Litigation and arbitration experience are required. Court room experience including motions Trial experience a plus. Exceptional legal writing and communication skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects are essential. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly are required. should have 1-3 years of experience in asbestos and product liability litigation to work with their APH Products Liability Group.
