Foreclosure Sales Attorney The candidate will have knowledge of the foreclosure process, particularly the post-judgment portion of a foreclosure. Will manage large portfolio of post-judgment foreclosure cases. Review, analyze, and resolve post-judgment motions and direct staff on resolution strategy. Assess post-judgment filings and determine whether case needs to be internally transferred to the Litigation Department for resolution based on Firm practice. Draft pleadings, motions, and responses as they relate to scheduling, re-scheduling, or cancellation of sales. Prepare for and attend Firm hearings. Draft proposed orders. Regularly communicate with clients on issues that may affect a foreclosure sale and provide analysis, outline proposed strategies for resolving, and indicate risks that client should consider. Work with paralegal supervisor to oversee staff of 4-5 individuals. Must be an organized and motivated attorney that can handle post-judgment issues as they arise. sometimes on urgent or emergency basis. Should have Juris Doctor degree. Must have Admission to Florida Bar in good standing. Must have 1-2 years practice of law, with at least one year in foreclosure. Post-judgment litigation experience a plus. General knowledge of Title as it relates to the foreclosure process is required. Must have intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel.
