Junior Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Will draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and responses thereto. Client communication. Ability to work with peers and the principal in a collaborative team environment. Attend routine court hearings. Argue in support of and against motions in state and federal court. Learn new areas of the law. Complete CLE requirements and present what has been learned to the team. Develop strategy and offer insight into situations. and, General business and professional development. Must have become licensed to practice in Illinois and admitted to federal court. Will accept recent graduates, it would be a plus to have experience taking and defending depositions. drafting briefs in support of and opposition to motions. and, appearing for court hearings including, arguing positions on motions. Trial experience would be welcomed. Must have exceptional research and writing skills. Must have exceptional communication and writing skills.
