Litigation & Workers Compensation Defense Paralegal Candidate must have 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in handling litigation or workers compensation case matters. Must be able to draft their own letters, have strong computer skills (including typing their own work), and have upbeat and positive people skills, as the position involves interaction with the Firms attorneys, paralegals and staff, physicians, physicians offices, opposing counsel, Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission and courts, and most importantly, the Firms clients. Must have experience in conducting e-discovery and e-filings in Federal court, be familiar with and have worked on all phases of the litigation process from tracking filing deadlines, preparing interrogatories and production, filing motions, scheduling depositions, and preparing deposition and trial binders. Schedule: 28 hours a week and 4 days a week in the office.
