Plaintiffs Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' needs. Will conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Record and store client information. Should have 4+ years of experience in various stages of litigation. Must be able to work up a file with minimal supervision from intake through trial preparation including drafting of correspondence, Notices of Claim, Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Discovery Demands/Responses, RJI's, Motions, Oppositions, Notes of Issue, Subpoenas, Notices of Intention and Expert Witness Disclosures. Must be able to prioritize and multitask, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be deadline and detail-oriented. Must be comfortable with running a case load and working independently. Exceptional organizational skills and willingness to work as part of a team are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is necessary. Familiarity with Smart Advocate case management system is a plus.
