Paralegal / Litigation Assistant The candidate will organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc. Prepare for trial and depositions by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits. Prepare, organize and manage documents produced during discovery. Interact with clients and other professionals regarding cases and scheduling. File pleadings with court clerk and/or electronic filing system in multiple jurisdictions. Review and respond to partner emails and update partner on client needs. Should have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures in litigation environment, as well as systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Experience and Education: (please insert your own requirements)4-year college degree required. Must have 2-3 years as a litigation paralegal/legal assistant required. Familiarity with litigation rules and procedures in Maryland and/or the District of Columbia required.
