Attorney The candidate should have an excellent academic record. Should be admitted and in good standing with the State of North Carolina, the NC State Bar and the US District Courts of North Carolina. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience in Veterans Disability and/or Social Security Disability. Experience in discovery and case preparation related to employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts is required. Should have an ability to demonstrate effective oral and written advocacy skills and negotiation tactics. An ability to apply analytical skills in addressing complex legal issues is needed. Must be able to travel to hearings throughout North Carolina. Case related travel outside of North Carolina may be necessary. VA Certification required. Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability a plus.
