Litigation Paralegal The candidate A paralegal Certificate or Associate Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Should have 3+ years of experience in Commercial and Intellectual Property litigation. Must have experience in all aspects of discovery and trial preparation. Experience with e-discovery is preferred, including working with outside vendors, organizing and coding documents in Ringtail (highly preferred) or other document software, and preparing trial exhibits using trial software (such as Trial Director). Should demonstrate strong communication skills, and handle confidential client information. Must be familiar with Illinois and federal rules, as well as have to experience with electronic filing and Westlaw research. Should be able to support a busy practice with multiple attorneys. Excellent communication skills, analytical and organizational abilities, and proactive nature to manage multiple priorities and deadlines are needed. Should have the ability to work with attorneys, paralegals, and staff across the firm's offices. Knowledge of timekeeping for billable and non-billable work is needed.
