Immigration Paralegal - Part-time The candidate will handle family law cases and some immigration cases. Must be able to handle a heavy case load and moves files in an expeditious manner. Meet with clients, fill out forms, help gather client's information and prepare packets in a timely manner. Also assist Attorney in setting hearings, scheduling court dates, legal research, obtaining discovery, setting depositions as needed and providing a support role for the attorney. The nature of client base requires proficiency in Spanish. Must be licensed by The Florida Bar and willing to handle Family cases, Immigration and some criminal matters. Will work in conjunction with the managing partner and will be responsible for handling their own case load. Primarily handle family cases but will also be exposed to other practice areas. The Attorney position is for an introductory level associate position. The Associate Attorney will draft pleadings, conduct research, attend court hearings and mediation, as needed.
