Legal Analyst (Paralegal) Responsibilities: Assists lawyers. Conducts research to support a legal proceeding. Prepares legal documents. Coordinates law office activity. Files documents with the courts. Communicates with clients. Serves as a liaison between attorneys and the courts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Superior writing and editing skills. Computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat). Familiarity with LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters products (Time Matters, WestLaw, etc.) preferred. Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat). Ability to work quickly and efficiently under strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to work independently as well as closely with others. An ability to multitask and prioritize. Distinguishes nuances easily. Solves problems effectively.
