Trademark Prosecution Paralegal The candidate will monitor and maintain trademark prosecution docket for due dates for responses, maintenance filings, renewals, oppositions and cancellations. Will conduct trademark searches. Draft trademark/service mark applications, affidavits of use, maintenance and renewal filings, and assignment agreements. Facilitate submission of trademark prosecution filings with USPTO. Draft responses to trademark examining attorney's official action. Draft client communications regarding trademark prosecution matters. Facilitate filings in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board matters. Communicate with foreign trademark counsel and agents regarding registration and maintenance matters. Draft powers of attorney and handling of documents for foreign prosecution needs. Draft Madrid Protocol applications and facilitate filings through the World Intellectual Property Association. Prepare cost estimates for domestic and foreign trademark filings. Research Domestic and International trademark laws and procedures. Must have a four-year degree in relevant field and 5-10 years of relevant past experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
