Legal Secretary The candidate will join legal secretary specializing in litigation and transactional practice areas. Significant litigation and transactional experience. Document production and file management. Extensive experience with e-filing in administrative, state and federal courts. Draft, proofread and edit correspondence and legal documents. Client interaction/communication with clients, courts, and attorneys. Legal calendaring via Computer law and other electronic court rule programs. Understanding and command of software applications. Management of multiple calendars, appointments and travel arrangements. Preparation of travel/expense reimbursements. Assist other secretaries and perform other duties as assigned to support the secretarial team and office attorneys. Interest in education law is preferred. The candidate high school diploma or GED; Associates/ Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Omega timekeeping and DMS (iManage) or similar software, E-Copy and Computer law is preferred. Must have 3+ years as a litigation and transactional secretary in a law firm setting.
