Litigation Attorney The candidate will communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties. Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files. Advocate on behalf of clients interests at various litigation settings. Utilize internal proprietary software to properly update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory. Analyze and process data, as assigned by Managing Attorney, to ensure that proper work flow is being adhered to pursuant to the expectations of both clients and the firm. Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Should have Membership in good standing with the State Bar of NC and SC. Should be proficient computer skills including extensive experience in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook. Should preferably have 1+ year of litigation/trial experience. Well-versed in practice of civil litigation. Collection experience preferred. Prior experience in high volume environment.
