Mass Tort Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: Make/receive forty to fifty plus calls per day to/from clients and medical providers. Review all potential intakes for Mass Tort clients; setup new Mass Tort files when needed. Meet with all Mass Tort clients when they come into the local office. Negotiate fee splits with potential co-counsels. Resolve client questions, provide case status updates and document communications. Review all new and current files in a timely manner. Send all new client's information to appropriate co-counsels. Communicate constantly with co-counsels to ensure all files are up to date. Monitor and communicate with the advertising platform being used during a campaign. Relay updates from client to co-counsel and vice versa. Request client medical records and bills from providers. Process payment for medical providers. Assist co-counsel in various aspects throughout the case and assist with deadlines. Review settlement documents with the client. Review and process any settlement checks that come in from co-counsel. Research new Mass Tort campaigns. Prepare/create all new Mass Tort sign up documents for new campaigns Associate s degree required; bachelor s degree preferred. Paralegal degree or certificate preferred. Should have 5+ years of experience in a legal, medical, or insurance setting, preferably experience in a personal injury law firm.
