Temporary Attorney Recruiter The candidate will be working closely with the Senior Lateral Attorney Recruiting Manager, will play an important role in all phases of lateral attorney recruiting, including analysis of lateral hiring needs for all of the firm's offices and non-IP practice groups; effective and efficient sourcing of candidates; establishing, documenting, and maintaining relationships with search firms; screening and recommending potential candidates to practice group leaders and hiring partners; overseeing, with the assistance of a coordinator, the logistics of candidate interviews and evaluations; and coordinating the due diligence process for all lateral candidates. In implementing lateral recruiting strategies and goals, the Recruiter will provide significant input into budget projections and will develop department tools for both internal and external lateral hiring trend analyses. A J.D. is strongly preferred. Must have 2-4 years of experience in a comparable law firm, professional services or corporate environment. Must have an analytical, independent thinker with a collaborative work ethic. An understanding of the legal industry is required, as is familiarity with attorney employment issues, including confidentiality and conflicts concerns, as well as law school rankings, grading systems and journals. Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy work environment are also required.
