Accelerated Review Attorney Duties: Consults with case teams regarding potential document reviews and various methods for completing those reviews in the most cost effective and efficient means. Performs document reviews for client litigation, client internal investigatory reviews, and internal Bryan Cave reviews. Conducts initial review of electronic or hard copy documents, including review for attorney/client, work product, and other applicable privileges. Performs quality control on document reviews. Interprets information on the document review and elevates issues and discrepancies, as appropriate, to the case team. Assists with training of case team lawyers as needed on document review processes. Communicates firm-wide protocols to case team lawyers in various offices, including how to interpret them, analytical requirements, and how to apply the protocols to review and production of the documents. Researches legal data (both manual and electronic) drafts and summarizes legal documents as necessary, and assists the case team with legal investigations. Drafts, evaluates, and negotiates various client contracts. Researches, analyzes, and compiles information from client databases and public sources using Excel or similar programs. Tracks time and enters it into the DTE system. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and Senior Manager. Qualifications: JD Degree. Missouri Bar license. 1 year of experience working with electronic document reviews recommended. Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with both internal and external clients on all levels. Demonstrated proficiency in both electronic and manual legal research and knowledge of court rules and procedures. Proven project, time, and people management skills as well as the ability to build teams. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Ability to inspire confidence in others and maintain confidentiality of all projects and data. Working knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet program, PowerPoint, Word, HTML, the Internet and WestLaw. Demonstrated advanced skills on the Internet and Viewpoint. Working knowledge of other document review and case management platforms as required is preferred. Demonstrated advanced analytic, problem solving, documentation, and organizational skills. Proven ability to pay attention to detail and to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities. Requires the ability to regularly report to work on the days and times scheduled.
