Attorney Hiring Assistant Duties: Preparing Correspondence. Answering Telephones. Processing Expenses. Coordinating On-Campus Visits. Interacting with Candidates, Vendors and Law Schools. Maintaining Departmental Data in Excel. Creating and Maintaining Electronic Records in Document Management System. Coordination of Logistics Related to In-Office Candidate Visits. Assisting with the summer associate program. Assisting with the fall recruitment program including several duties related to on-campus recruiting and the in-office callback process. Providing support during law student, summer program and diversity-related social events. Assisting with Lateral Attorney Hiring as needed. Supporting Attorney Coordinators in Project-Related Assignments. Qualifications: 2+ years of administration support experience in a legal or professional services environment. Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting season required. Strong organizational, clerical, and creative problem solving skills, and will be both detail and team-oriented. Must have excellent client service skills and be willing to accept direction from multiple team members in order to complete the overall goals of the department. Must be able to work well under pressure in order to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a professional manner with attorneys, staff and outside personnel on all levels.
