Legal Secretary The candidate will prepare letters, documents, discovery, motions and other legal documents for service; including proofreading, redacting and preparing exhibits. Prepare court forms such as summons and subpoenas. Schedule conferences and depositions. Maintain attorney calendar and reminder system. Knowledge of Federal and State court rules and filing procedures; including E-Filing. Handle Attorney Expenses. Handle Third-Party/Vendor Invoices. Handle Client Legal Service Bills. Management of electronic file database; including organized and systematic saving of documents to said system. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with commercial and insurance defense litigation. Must have exceptional litigation skills with strong knowledge of State and Federal Court rules; including E-filing. Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively required. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
