Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for completing all assigned duties under the supervision and direction of their managing attorney. The Paralegal also acts as a liaison between clients and the attorney to ensure outstanding communication and case organization. Understanding of personal injury law and case management strategies. Providing compassion and professionalism to clients and other outside parties. Transcribe correspondence, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses. Comply with Court/discovery deadlines. Proactive documentation of all/any work done on a case .Corresponding with counsel about matters. Act as liaison between attorneys, clients, and witnesses. Gather, organize, summarize, and index documents from various sources. Provide logistical support, including filing legal documents or collecting legal documents at a variety of venues. Drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and other court documents. Organizing and summarizing medical bills and medical records. Constantly updating case medical expenses. Schedule depositions and mediations. Should have Paralegal certification from an accredited university. Superb oral and written communication skills.
