Paralegal / (Family Law, Bankruptcy, Litigation) The candidate should have experience of all areas of practice to support are litigation and deadline intensive. Must have the ability to quickly understand the scope of the case, schedule deadlines, and serve appropriate documents. Must have at least intermediate knowledge of the litigation process and civil procedure in state and federal courts as well as familiarity with legal concepts within the focus areas. Should have the ability to organize attorney and court calendars, navigate paper and electronic files, and assist in developing greater efficiency within the firm. An intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite is required. Experience with time tracking software, and general computer skill in drafting, calculating, and performing legal and internet research is preferred. Experience in the areas of family law, litigation or bankruptcy is required.
