Paralegal Candidate will focus primarily in personal injury, workers compensation, wage-and-hour, social security disability, and general civil litigation. Must be bright, detail-oriented, and able to work under the stress of deadlines and high pressure situations. Must be adaptable to different areas of law and able to work alongside multiple paralegals and attorneys. Must have: Previous law firm assistance experience, preferably in the aforementioned areas. 2 years law firm experience. Experience with Prevail and/or TABs billing programs a plus, High school diploma, College with legal emphasis a plus. Strong familiarity and understanding of minimal common legal processes and procedures. Strong critical thinking and writing skills. Precision and accuracy completing tasks and projects. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a timely manner. Ability to maintain and adhere to crucial deadlines. Ability to draft correspondence and legal instruments. Ability to communicate efficiently with attorneys and paralegals. Ability to navigate a legal client profile system, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook. Have initiative to get tasks completed.
