Litigation Attorney Duties: Assisting with telephone, in-person intake, and sign up of potential new clients. Filing lawsuits, drafting and responding to written discovery, taking depositions, preparing clients, and presenting them for depositions. Managing a litigation docket of between 50 to 75 cases. Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree (i.e. JD). Texas State Bar licensed. 2+ years Plaintiff's personal injury litigation experience. Litigation experience. Solid knowledge of Texas civil procedure and personal injury law. Excellent legal research, written and verbal communication skills. Willing to try at least 3 cases per year with firm co-counsel. Must have demonstrated negotiation experience. Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude. Client first attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Personal injury litigation experience. 1st chair trial experience. Experience with Needles case management software. Federal Court experience.
