Patent Legal Secretary The candidate should have 2 years of patent prosecution experience. Will be responsible for providing administrative and patent prosecution support to prosecution practice groups. Candidates must possess stellar written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple changing priorities on a daily basis. Primary Responsibilities: Supporting all areas of patent prosecution, appeals and post grant proceedings including scheduling appointments for timekeepers and clients, organizing, updating and maintaining filing systems of professional, administrative, and prosecution case files. Monitoring and maintaining the Daily Digest for timekeepers' case dockets, investigating case statuses as necessary. Assisting in the preparation of memoranda, correspondence and pleadings, and aiding in the prioritization of workload to ensure deadlines are met. Maintaining current knowledge of U.S. filing procedures and rules relating to patent prosecution as well as filing rules and procedures at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Maintaining current knowledge of firm and client procedures.
