Litigation Defense and Workers Compensation Paralegal The candidate should have 2+ years of experience in workers compensation or litigation defense (as a paralegal or former workers compensation adjuster) and a 4-year college degree. Must be proficient in typing their own work, type at least 45 words per minute, be able to perform e-filings in State and Federal Court and appellate filings, have familiarity with all phases of litigation preparation (e.g., pleadings, discovery, evidence and trial organization), and must have excellent people skills, as the position involves interaction with clients, physicians, opposing counsel, the Workers Compensation Commission and Courts.
