Paralegal The candidate will be preparing legal pleadings under the direction of the State Level Attorney. Will be reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy. Filing pleadings by mail or electronically with courts. Monitoring progress of cases to ensure all are processed within deadlines including communication with court staff and service vendors to update case statuses.. Assisting State Level Attorney with docket management including regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, process servers, and appearance counsel. Administrative duties including mail management, document processing, faxing, filing and copying case work. Communicating with various departments within the firm to aid in client reporting, case level inquiry resolution and inventory management. Searching various databases to obtain collection information. Assisting State Level Attorney with management and supervision of jurisdictional inventory. Performing various special projects as directed. Should have 1+ year of pqe. Must be capable of learning involved technology, handling large volumes of cases and of successfully managing competing demands.
