Paralegal- Insurance Defense The candidate will work under experienced attorneys. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Maintain close contact with client. Data input and electronic management of files. Experience as a paralegal in general liability especially construction required. Experience drafting legal documents required. Familiarity with legal research required. Ability to prioritize and multitask required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Deadline and detail-oriented required. Preference given to candidates with billing experience. Requirements also include outstanding writing skills emphasizing clarity, persuasion and detail; ability to deliver under time constraints.
