Contract Attorney-Part Time The candidate will be responsible for managing role on a limited number of matters in the above listed areas of law. Meet with clients in Cedar Hill offices. Representing clients in Dallas and other nearby Counties. Contact on cases assigned from start to completion. Supervising by the managing attorney and should be able to attend hearings in and around Dallas County on assigned matters and for other matters on an as needed basis.
The candidate should have Graduate of an accredited law school with a JD Degree. Must have Licensed as an attorney by the State of Texas. Must be Member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code is needed. Skill in legal writing, meditation and negotiation is desired. Skill in serving as a trial lawyer, preparing sound opinions, conducting investigations and performing legal research is required. Experience in the following areas of law are preferred: Probate/Estate Planning/Family Law/Personal Injury//Civil Litigation/Traffic Tickets. Note: This position is 10-20 hours per week.
