Patent Prosecution Paralegal The candidate must have a college degree or 5+ years of domestic and basic foreign patent prosecution experience. Must have knowledge of USPTO rules and procedures. A basic understanding of foreign patent prosecution procedures is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is required. Working knowledge of preparing and electronically filing various forms and documents with the USPTO; filing and managing non-provisional, provisional, divisional, continuation/continuation in part applications, and national phase applications; reporting to attroneys and clients essential. Must be experienced with researching PAIR and similar foreign databases. Should have experience preparing Information Disclosure Statements; coordinating execution of assignments, power of attorney documents, declarations; handling missing parts responses, petitions, notice of appeal, issue documents, and corrected documents. Working knowledge of some patent docketing system is a plus. Deadline: February 25, 2018.
