Litigation Paralegal The candidate will handle PI cases in litigation from filing of the complaint and service of process through trial, as well as arbitration cases. Responsibilities include: Drafting shell pleadings, motions and oppositions for attorney to finalize and file them with the court. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files). Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes in system. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, etc. in system. Preparing and responding to civil discovery. Scheduling depositions. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Filing in court systems. Client communication. Should have 2 years experience with Plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Must have knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices. Spanish is preferred.
