Family Law Paralegal The candidate will draft pleadings, motions, and proposed orders. Prepare initial disclosures -- must be very familiar with this new requirement as the collection and preparation of this information will be a primary function for this position. Correspondence with clients, courts, other attorneys. Schedule mediations. File pleadings with court clerks. Assist in preparation for hearings, meditions, and trial. Assist in preparing draft Mediated Settlement Agreements. Work closely with clients to prepare discovery responses and inventories. Anticipate and look for issues as they arise in cases. Bachelor's degree is required. Should have 2+ years of Family Law and 2+ years of Paralegal experience.
