Employment Litigation Attorney- Plaintiff The candidate will represent employees in wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation and FMLA matters. Responsibilities: Draft complaints, propound discovery and respond to discovery, draft motions, oppositions and reply briefs, draft mediation and trial briefs, conduct depositions of parties and outside witnesses and prepare for and participate in trial; Handle all aspects of employment litigation matters; Participate in litigation strategy meetings and the shaping of litigation strategy; Conduct initial consultations with clients and work with clients until the resolution of their case; Work with other team members in a collaborative environment in order to achieve the best outcome for clients; Other responsibilities as caseload demands. Should have 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Must have 2 years of employment law experience either on the Plaintiff side or Defense side. Superb legal writing and research skills are required. Knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and California Rules of Court is an essential qualification; federal law experience a plus. Trial experience would be a plus.
