Assistant Paralegal (Immigration) Duties: Receive training on becoming an Immigration Paralegal. Assist in drafting non-immigrant and immigration visas applications. Adhere to and incorporate protocols and procedures into daily work. An inherent duty will be making copies and scanning, as well as maintaining and organizing case files. Will require working with and communicating with team members in other offices via email and phone. Assembling presentations and cases before they are delivered to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for adjudication.. May include liaising directly with client contacts. Qualifications: Paralegal Certification, a plus. Bachelor's Degree, any field. Prior office setting experience required, prior legal office experience a plus. Organized and detail oriented. Strong research, communication and procedural skills. Must be able to take direction and multitask. Computer Skills required to complete research tasks, produce word documents, and utilize our case management program. Writing skills, a plus. Interest in Immigration Law, a plus. Bilingual, a plus. Will be required to adhere to confidentiality rules, as we deal with sensitive, personal information.
