Commercial Litigation Attorney The candidate should have Legal research and writing ability required. Experience in Analysis of financial documents required. Experience with Depositions including Apex required. Experience in filing and arguing summary judgement motions required. Experience with contested evidentiary hearing for injunctive matters required. Experienced in drafting and responding to discovery required. Experience in preparing motions for summary judgement, trial briefs, and injunctive briefs required. Familiar with preparing trial strategy memos for litigation cases to which they are assigned. The ability to review, organize and summarize voluminous documents to marshal evidence for hearings and trials required. Legal Publications is a plus. Timely completion of projects. If you crammed for exams at the last minute, this is not the job for. Top 25% of class in law school required. Comfortable creating dynamic presentations for trial required. Fully prepared, relaxed, and focused when arguing motions in State and Federal Courts; and A positive attitude and curiosity about the law is a must. Should have 2 years of experience particularly in legal writing and research, with an editing background. Must be licensed in Texas. Experience with trials, depositions, meditations, drafting and defending complex multi-party motions for summary judgment, discovery requests and responses, and preparing and filing all trial related pleadings in State and Federal Courts is mandatory. Submit law school transcript and three writing samples of matters prepared.
