Litigation Paralegal Duties: Responsible for providing support in all areas of personal injury case management involving motor vehicle accidents leading to a successful outcomes for clients. Effectively manage a case load of 75-100 cases. Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions Continually communicate with clients, internal and external stake holders Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens) Negotiate with providers and lien holders to dispute charges or obtain reduction Accurately maintain case management data in Needles (case management database). Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation. Requirements: College degree or comparable paralegal certification and experience. 2+ years (preferred) of experience in a plaintiffs personal injury law firm. Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents. Proficient in preparing discovery responses. Detail oriented with a focus on grammar and language arts. Professional appearance and behavior. Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Needles preferred).
