Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for providing paralegal services to partners and associates in the Financial Services Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement Group of the firm. Work with partners, associates and support staff. Cite checking/Bluebooking briefs and other documents. Review documents for production and case research. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Draft responsive pleadings for federal court, state court, and arbitration proceedings. Perform research using litigation support programs such as Westlaw, Lexis, Relativity, and TextMap. Help prepare for depositions and organizational meetings: organize potential exhibits, digesting, vendor sourcing, and deposition locations. Assist with trial preparation, trial witnesses, exhibits, and subpoenas. Other projects/responsibilities as assigned. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Paralegal certificate a plus. A minimum of 3-5 years of general litigation experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to work independently and on a team. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and litigation support programs. Knowledge of appellate practice, motion practice, discovery, and court rules. Notary Public license a plus. Flexibility to work overtime.
