Associate Attorney The candidate will join a firm with an emphasis on consumer and commercial collection litigation and creditors rights seeks. Will make frequent court appearances for dockets, hearings and trials. Prepare pleadings, motions and discovery responses. Legal research and writing. Review and sign pleadings. Review new claims. Review and approve garnishments. Should have a J.D. degree and be licensed in Missouri. Familiarity with consumer protection laws, including the FDCPA is required. Must have 1+ year of experience. Legal collection experience is preferred. An Illinois would be considered a plus.
