Immigration Paralegal (Spanish Speaking) The candidate will assist attorneys in preparation of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status, asylum, naturalization, and be involved with deportation cases. Must have a minimum of 10 years of legal assistance experience (Paralegal certificate a plus), in the area of Immigration Law. Must have excellent Communication Skills, i.e., oral and written; grammar and spelling, excellent phone etiquette is required. Can Write, Read and Converse in Spanish. Experience in preparing Immigration forms. Knowledge on DHS procedures and policies. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Ability to work well with others, take direction and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be experienced with rules and procedures for the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals required as well. Have an interest in human rights and immigration matters. Family Immigration: 5 years (Preferred). Removal Defense: 10 years (Preferred) Employment Based Immigration: 5 years.
