Litigation Paralegal The Candidate will be responsible to work in Insurance Defense firm as a Paralegal and should be supporting attorneys involved in auto and other accidents, construction cases, bad faith insurance defense and experience in those areas will be considered a plus. Should have diploma/certificate with strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills using MS Office applications; flexibility to work overtime as needed; good organizational skills; ability to work well under deadlines; and excellent interpersonal skills. Must have 2+ years of experience in an insurance defense setting. Experience with federal and state electronic filing, file management, discovery (i.e. medical records) collection and organizing, producing medical and litigation chronologies plus trial preparation and support is preferred. Should have experience of drafting basic litigation filings such as affidavits, authorizations, subpoena preparation, service waivers, and removals.
