Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be corresponding and communicating with clients. Conducting telephonic and in-person potential client intake interviews. Requesting medical records; reviewing and analyzing said records. Drafting pleadings and discovery. Drafting demand letters. Preparation and service of subpoenas. Filing in State and Federal Courts. Scheduling, maintaining, and updating calendar (electronic and hardcopy). Booking and managing attorney travel and meetings. Communicating with insurance companies through claims process. Assisting in preparation of settlement demands. The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree. Must have 3+ years of experience as personal injury legal assistant. 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury law, preferably with a medical background. Experience with Amicus Attorney Premium required. Possess excellent document preparation, typing, and prioritization skills. Bilingual in Spanish a must. Proficient usage of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Possess excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills.
