Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate responsible for providing a high degree of litigation legal secretarial support to attorneys, paralegals and other administrative personnel. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents for filing with various courts, in various jurisdictions; handling completed work, telephone calls and conference calls to/from attorneys, clients and staff; processing mail; preparing and processing new client matter reports, time sheets and expense reports; scheduling and coordinating conferences, meetings and appointments; coordinating travel arrangements; managing work flow; providing assistance to visitors, paralegals, summer associates and attorneys whose secretaries are absent, and accepting overflow work from other secretaries. Should have 5 to 10 years of litigation legal secretarial experience. Must have California state and federal court filing experience (manual and electronic).
