Immigration Clerk/Paralegal The candidate will be involved in writing and research with the supervision of the attorney. Perfect for someone looking to transition from paralegal to law clerk. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience processing all aspects of family-based immigration cases (EOIR filing and USCIS filings). Should have experience writing/drafting I-601A waivers, put EOIR court filings (EOIR 42B, 42A, Asylum (Defensive and Affirmative) Bond Requests together, drafting responses to immigration USCIS, and organizing family-based packages together (U Visas, VAWAs, Consular Processing, CIS adjustment of status packages) with ease. Should have the ability to manage a diverse caseload, be able to multitask, prioritize and balance competing demands. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the love and compassion required to deal with these types of cases. Must be able to speak Spanish and English.
