Entry-level Legal Secretary/Receptionist The candidate will answer phones; assist with billing; calendar appointments; handle mail, scanning, faxing; meet and greet clients, and input legal costs into client files on legal software. Will also be assisting Estate Planning Assistant and will be temporarily overtaking their job duties during the employee's maternity leave absence around November 2021, while still carrying a limited receptionist role. Will also draft Estate Planning documents; meet with clients for their signing appointment; draft probate documents; draft conservatorship documents; do legal research; draft discovery and sign Proof of Service Forms and Mail to Service List. The candidate must have a Bachelors's or Paralegal Degree. Should preferably have a Notary license. Should preferably have 1+ years of law firm experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and must be comfortable with e-filing. Should have the ability to type at least 45 wpm. Must be very organized and detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
