Legal Secretary Responsibilities: Administrative functions such as managing logistics. Point of contact/ representative for clients. Other duties as assigned. Heavy transcription. Scheduling Depositions, Med-Legal Evaluations. Maintaining Attorney's calendar. E-file court documents. Maintaining files in an orderly manner. Input Attorney billing. will include working with attorneys and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions. Qualifications: Must have a high school degree or equivalent experience and 1 to 3 years of experience; strong organizational, transferrable skills, and communication skills; self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, positive attitude, self-motivated, team-player, and detail-orientated. Must have a typing speed of 50 words per minute; a polished and professional manner and appearance and an excellent attendance record; the ability to multi-task, prior office experience; some knowledge of legal terminology.
