Legal Assistant/Paralegal (Personal Injury) The candidate will be communicating with clients, health care providers, insurance adjusters, other attorneys, courts, police departments via telephone, email, and correspondence. Obtaining, indexing, filing, and transmitting medical records and bills, lost income documentation, and other documents supporting injury claims. Litigation support, including preparation of discovery, assisting trial lawyer with case preparation, deposition and trial exhibits and, for the right candidate, attendance at jury trials. Should have 3 years of Personal Injury experience. Familiarity with basics of car accident claims, e.g. PIP claims, property damage, dealing with liability and PIP claims adjusters from start to finish is required. Familiarity with PCLaw is a plus. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent communication skills are preferred. Fluency in Spanish is preferable.
