Part-Time Paralegal The candidate will provide legal support services. Duties include: answer phones; manage calendars; assist the public; type correspondence; prepare legal documents; prepare files; assist victims and witnesses to understand and prepare for court; gather information to assist in the prosecution of cases; and other duties as assigned. Interview to elicit information from victims and witnesses to assure appropriate services; coordinate and schedule the daily operations; manage the court appearances; communicate orally and in writing with persons of diverse backgrounds; establish and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement officers, officials of related agencies and the general public; and calmly handle stressful situations. The candidate should have graduation from high school or high school equivalency certificate and 2+ years of legal secretarial experience. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; accurately typing and answering telephone system. Working knowledge of Law Firm software is a plus. Ability to speak Spanish and experience working with criminal, civil and personal injury cases. Working knowledge of ACIS software systems is a plus.
