Estate Planning Paralegal The candidate' must already be a reputable and experienced paralegal with at least 5 years of experience in estate planning who can perform the job duties below with little training or supervision. Primary Job Duties: Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and all ancillary documents. We use Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel drafting software. Prepare and file probate court petitions and manage probate cases from start to finish. Draft trust administration documents, including notifications to beneficiaries, asset transfer letters, accountings, real property transfer documents, distributions agreements, etc.; Communicate with banks and institutions on behalf of successor trustees. Manage and prepare documents for all limited, non-contested conservatorships for young adult kids with special needs. Initiate and respond to client emails or calls on behalf of attorneys. (Please note we have other team members who primarily handle non-legal administrative tasks). Help coordinate and manage the client experience by ensuring all legal work is timely and competently performed. Occasional notary services when other team members are unavailable.
