Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal The candidate will perform general and specialized legal assistant functions with supervision or guidance. Respond to case needs, assignments and issues as they arise; coordinating with vendors and in-house support staff; making sound decisions and seeking advice when necessary; effectively utilizing technology and training; maintain accurate litigation databases, and diligently completing day-to-day discovery projects, organize materials and promptly and thoroughly responding to attorney and senior paralegal requests. Assist with case management and preparation. Organize case materials and promptly and thoroughly respond to attorney requests. Document production and review. Deposition and witness preparation. Factual investigation and research. Cite checking/ fact checking briefs (Bluebook and CA Style Manual). State and Federal filing. Trial Preparation. Other projects as assigned. Bachelor's degree and strong academic credentials is required. Should have 3-5 years of experience as a Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal working on large complex litigation cases. Must have state and federal filing experience is required.
