Litigation Paralegal - Insurance Defense The candidate will prepare medical chronologies. Perform legal and non-legal research in litigation matters. Draft pleadings, discovery, briefs, memorandums and correspondence. Ensure timely responses to legal notices and subpoenas. Prepare, analyze and proofread summaries of documents and other records. Maintain case management system assisting attorneys with organization and maintenance of documents. Assist attorneys with trial and deposition preparation. Obtain information required to comply with subpoenas, request for production of documents, or other forms of pretrial discovery. Assist with overflow paralegal support to balance team workload. Should have 5+ years of work experience at a law firm or legal environment. Certification from accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience using iManage, Westlaw and Relativity is preferred.
